On December 28, 2023, the Future Law Foundation reported the opening of registrations for the Civil and Commercial Mediation Training Course, aiming to equip students with knowledge in the areas of civil and commercial mediations.
According to information provided by the Spanish Bar Association of the General Council, the course comprises 12 modules covering alternative dispute resolution (ADR), legislation, the role of the mediator, negotiation, and its techniques, among other topics.
The course, intended for beginners in mediation and those requiring certification for their ongoing education, will be conducted from January 25 to June 4, 2024, through a combination of online and in-person sessions.
